Amits interview at 2019 IGDC

The biggest and the most significant developer conference not only in India but also in South Asia, the 2019 India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) at Hyderabad wrapped up recently. The Conference received great responses from gaming professionals, publishers and investors alike. Seen here is Nukebox CEO Amit Hardi in some fun and insightful discussions about Mobile Game Publishing with Joseph Kim – CEO at Tiazu and Brent Wiedmer – Lead Game Designer at The Tilting Point.

Look Back with Joy: a Triumphant Reminiscence

“It’s the vision and execution strategy that makes or breaks the studio. The same set of tools is available to budding developers that are available for larger developers; infrastructure is not the problem,” shares Amit Hardi CEO of Nukebox Studios, who bootstrapped Food Truck Chef all the way. Today, it’s one of the top 200 grossing games in 150 countries. Check out his interview at last year’s IGDC with Siddharth Mahajan – CEO & Founder, GatewayVR.

Perhaps you’re familiar with the mega-poplar mobile cooking game Food Truck Chef from Nukebox Studios and Tilting Point. And maybe you’re a superfan of the cult animated series Spongebob Squarepants. And if you’re thinking to yourself “WHY oh WHY can’t these two things I love somehow merge?”; well, your wish is their command.

Nukebox and Tilting Point have partnered up with Nickelodeon to make this very odd and specific dream of yours come true, reported Touch Arcade. With SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off – a mobile cooking game, you’ll take a spot behind the counter of the Krusty Krab grill and dish out delicious dishes to tons of familiar faces from the Spongebob universe. In addition to slinging deep sea chow, players will also be able to explore Bikini Bottom and decorate their underwater kitchens to their liking. Here’s a teaser trailer.

And here are some more bites on the same from the likes of Venture Beat, Bleeding Cool and Gamasutra .

Food Truck Chef features in ‘Editors’ Choice’, on PlayStore

Yet again, the ‘most-loved cooking game’ – Food Truck Chef (FTC) features in the top spots on Google PlayStore, in the ‘Editors’ Choice’ section.

Elaborating on what makes FTC special, the editors applauded the way FTC builds on the “established kitchen management formula by offering novel ways to upgrade your business.” And although they love the diversity of cuisines available at FTC, they claim a “special fondness for Breakfast Street.”
